Job Title: Staff Nurse
Location: Lebanon, NH
Half time 20-29 hours M - F, half time 20hrs Day half time, days - In the department of Hematology/Oncology, the Triage Nurse will provide care for Hematology patients, working as a member of specific disease management groups. Patient advocacy will include symptom management guidance and patient education, as well as working with insurance companies and patient assistance programs. The RN will work closely with Nurse Practitioners and physicians to provide ongoing health care to patients and families in the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Critical thinking, flexibility and team work along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. This position reports to the Nurse Manager. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current NH registered nurse licensure required, BSN preferred. Oncology experience strongly recommended. Ideally we are looking for an RN who has OCN certification and Chemotherapy Administration Experience.

Full time 36-39 hours Rapid Response Team Nurse-12 hour shifts, D/N rotation Day RN Required Under the direction of the Life Safety Director and Nursing Director of the Intensive Care Unit, the Rapid Response Team (RRT-RN) Nurse works to provide direct application of clinical expertise to adult patients anywhere in the tertiary care, academic Campus of the Medical Center. The major role functions of the RRT Nurse include clinical practice, consultation, communication, education, and leadership. Communication and collaboration with all levels of healthcare providers is essential to attaining success in this position. The RRT Nurse is a professional nurse who demonstrates the skills necessary to provide expert nursing care of the adult acute care patient in distress or deemed to be high risk for acute decomposition. The RRT RN will evaluate, triage and provide goal directed interventions for patients as needed. Potential examples include adult stat airway, code blue, code white, and Hitchcock Early Response Team (HERT) calls. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Registered Nurse with current NH licensure. A minimum of three years of critical care experience required. ACLS Required. Maintain critical advanced nursing competencies. CCRN required or completed within 1 year of hire in the position.
