The Georgia Association of Nursing Students and is made up of all SNA’s from schools of nursing throughout the state of Georgia. Each year, GANS hosts a state conference that brings together approximately 600 nursing students to conduct a state House of Delegates and attend a number of personally and professionally enriching activities. The state board meets monthly throughout the year to plan statewide activities and the convention and includes similar leadership positions as those found at the SNA (school) level.
