Nurse Shortage Numbers Looking Up

A new study shows Virginia’s expected nursing shortage over the next decade may not be as bad as first thought.
The study, done by the Virginia Department of Health Professions, says many registered nurses are delaying retirement and others are re-entering the workforce due to the downturn in the economy.
