* PinnacleHealth Heart & Vascular Institute has pioneered cardiac care in Central Pennsylvania since 1956 when our surgeons performed the area’s first heart bypass surgery. Today, we perform more than 650 heart bypass surgeries, 4,900 catheterization procedures and 4,500 angioplasty procedures each year.
* We’re proud to say that we deliver more babies than any other hospital in the region, welcoming more than 4,000 babies into the world every year. We have expert high-risk prenatal care services as well as high-risk neonatal care with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) onsite.
