Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Nursing; Doctorate desirable
*At least 3 years clinical experience,
* 2 years staff development or adult education experience and/or demonstrated expertise referred
* Must have Women Services experience.
*Texas RN licensure, Professional Development Certification Preferred. BLS instructor
* Effective leadership and interpersonal communication skills;Verbal and written communication skills in English; Advanced knowledge of current professional nursing and health care issues.
DUTIES:
*Collaborates with managers, staff, physicians, patients to identify and *Develope appropriate education for WOMEN'S services.
*Uses a variety of teaching strategies to facilitate achievement of the learning objectives
*Serves as a mentor & role model promoting the professional role of the nurse
*Utilizes evidence based practice to develop continuing education for Women's services
