Full Time For our CVOR - Must have expertise in Vein Harvesting. Flexible CPR Certification Florida License or Eligibility Required 1-2 years experience is required Operating Room Experience Recent experience in the specialty area is required
GENERAL SUMMARY: The CVOR Physician Assistant is responsible to the CVOR manager. He/she works as a member of a team committed to the purpose of providing the best patient experience and exceptional health care. The Physician Assistant works within the scope of the protocols and under the direction of the CVOR physicians. Functions include managing the care of patients, performing VEIN HARVESTING procedures, preparing the patient for discharge, completing History and Physical examinations, as well as Discharge Summaries. The Physician Assistant contributes to positive outcomes and meeting the Cultural expectations of the organization by exhibiting professional behavior. Must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient, customer, and employee satisfaction. May perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Required: Excellent clinical and evaluation skills, ability to concentrate and be attentive to details.
EDUCATION:
Preferred: None
Required: Master's prepared preferred, B.S. from an ARC-PA or AMA approved school.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: None
Required: (If STEP or PTD and normally scheduled to work less than 40 hours per pay period, must have minimum of one year full time experience in acute care hospital.) Cardiovascular OR experience required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER:
Preferred: None
Required: Florida State License as an Physician Assistant and NCCPA certified
