Job Description:
Flexible Schedule 80 hrs ppd; Infectious Diseases Flexible PharmD & eligible for FL license GENERAL SUMMARY: Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC, modeling the values and culture. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist works within the scope of Pharmacy Laws and Standards of Practice to maximize benefit to the patient while minimizing associated costs. His/Her functions include rounds as a member of the multidisciplinary team to provide pharmacotherapeutic management for all consulted patients, coordinating the development and implementation of drug therapy protocols and /or pathways to maximize benefits of drug therapy, and teaching other health care providers. He/she must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient, customer, and employee satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Preferred: None
Required: None
EDUCATION:
Preferred: PharmD with completion of a specialty pharmacy residency
Required: PharmD with completion of residency OR equivalent experience in area of expertise
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: None
Required: Must have minimum one year full time experience in acute care hospital working in area of expertise
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER:
Preferred: None
Required: Current State of Florida pharmacist license*AHA19*
