Job Description:
Full-time 7am Days Responsible for managing the overall operation and clinical coordination of the Central Sterile Processing department including, but not limited to: ensuring proper and efficient workflow throughout the Perioperative operation; performance improvement and employee adherence to policies and practices to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements; all aspects of department staff management; actively promotes an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to the delivery of care; ensure department goals and budget are established and met.
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred. NICHSPDP or IAHCSMM Technician Certification, with a minimum of 5 years experience in the supervision and direction of a CS department in a healthcare environment required. Other requirements include: excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, physicians, etc; work effectively under pressure; develop and effectively manage the department budget; effectively manage a 3-shift operation.
