University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center is an accredited acute care, full service medical and surgical facility located in Richmond Heights, Ohio. Founded in 1961, the hospital specializes in personalized, quality medical care, and is proud to have both D.O.'s (Doctors of Osteopathy) and M.D.'s (Medical Doctors) on staff, representing over 30 specialties and numbering over 200 physicians. The hospital is licensed for 250 beds and offers comprehensive health services including acute care, outpatient and diagnostic services, an emergency and trauma department and other rehabilitative services. Over $3 million have been invested over the past four years to redecorate and remodel the hospitals inpatient units and renovate a physician time-share area. Additionally, University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education program includes Osteopathic Residencies in Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. It also serves as one of the areas largest Podiatric Residency programs. The hospital has provided quality care to the community for over 40 years by offering a variety of services.
