Hays Medical Center to partner with CHO
Friday, August 14, 2009
LARNED - Some very good news was announced at a town hall meeting Tuesday night in Larned, but for it to become just about a total “win/win,” voters need to approve a one-cent sales tax next Tuesday.
Hays Medical Center, of Hays, has agreed to partner with the Pawnee County Community Health Organization toward solving the health-care crisis here. Tuesday’s election, seeking approval of a one-cent hike in the Pawnee County sales tax, would raise about $700,000 per year toward that aim.
