Missouri nursing schools may get $3M infusion

Missouri’s public universities could get $3 million during the next three years to help sustain enrollment growth from a $40 million infusion made in the fall.
The Missouri Board of Nursing voted to award $1 million in grants in 2012, 2013 and 2014, potentially hiring 13 new faculty positions at Missouri’s public universities. The money would come from fees nurses pay to the state to receive their license.
