San Juan Regional Medical Center is a 240 bed acute care hospital with a level III trauma center located in Farmington, New Mexico. In August 2006, an $83 million expansion was completed which added 72 new private patient rooms, most with fresh air balconies. The older part of the facility is undergoing renovation, with all patient rooms being converted to private. Much of the renovation is completed, including the new staff-only cafe, and a spacious Cardiac and Pulmonary Gym.
