This 104 bed, state-of-the-art, breathtaking facility offers family-centered care in a child-friendly atmosphere. Our nurses are specially trained to treat the youngest patients as special people with unique needs and concerns.

100 percent of NWOSU nursing students pass exam

Nursing students from the class of 2009 at Northwestern Oklahoma State University have much to celebrate as they enter the profession.
Twenty nursing graduates from all three of Northwest-ern’s campuses have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), a re-quired test for nursing graduates.
Of the 20 graduates, nine attended the Enid branch campus, seven attended the Alva campus and four attended Woodward.

Necessary Care: Visiting Nurses Go Where Need Is

They have tended their patients under bridges, in tent cities, and in the starkest of homes.
Their patients are often those nobody wants to hear about but whose lives depend on the constant care of the nurses who work for the Visiting Nurse Association of Tulsa.
“These are people who have no Medicare, no Medicaid, no resources. Nobody else wants to see them,” said George Beilke, the organization’s CEO for 28 years. “Our job is to get them back on their feet.”
Many can’t afford to pay for their utilities, and some are homeless.

But the real miracle of cruising is presenting activities that appear as work, but making them fun.
