Centra’s innovative nurse program is recognized

Cheryl Burnette, M.Ed, B.S., R.N., CPLP, Centra nurse retention coordinator, has earned national recognition for an innovative Centra program for new nurses from the 2009 Nursing Management Congress Planning Panel.

Burnette’s poster presentation entitled, Smart Sleep: Implementing a Creative Sleep Program for New Nurse Graduates, was the 2009 Judges’ Choice Award winner by the Nursing Management Congress Planning Panel.
