Chaminade University Awaits Nursing School Approval

The Hawaii State Board of Nursing is expected to issue final approval Thursday for a new school of nursing at Chaminade University.
The nursing school has been planned for four years.
Chaminade’s President Dr. Bernie Ploeger says a thousand nursing school applicants are turned away each year in Hawaii because there is no room in existing nursing programs.
