RICHLAND—Nurses at Kadlec Regional Medical Center are beginning a two-year journey the hospital hopes will end with patients getting better bedside care.
The hospital is one of 32 in the nation participating in the Transforming Care at the Bedside Initiative led by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
Susan Spohr, Kadlec’s chief nursing officer, said the Richland hospital is joining the initiative in its second phase, following on the heels of a pilot project involving 67 hospitals.
