Kaweah Delta Health Care District, expanding to 600+ beds by 2009, plays a significant role in the health and well-being of California’s great Central Valley. For more than 40 years, we have provided a wide array of state-of-the-art and nationally recognized services. Our family of health professionals is dedicated to delivering excellent care. With this promise, we only recruit the most talented and caring staff available. So, come grow with us! Kaweah Delta is an outstanding choice for the new RN. Our combination of a structured and supportive orientation that is customized to fit your needs is exactly what you will want as you begin your career. Clinical orientation usually ranges from 4-8 weeks for most new graduates; however, it may be extended or shortened based on performance and the assessment of the educator and unit manager. Clinical orientation will enable the new graduate to function as a valued team member, to learn key resources to access in an appropriate and timely manner, and to familiarize themselves with the unique surroundings, culture and practices of the unit.
