Minnesota nurses await calls for Haiti relief
Wednesday, January 27, 2010
The Minnesota Nurses Association says more than 300 nurses statewide have volunteered to travel to Haiti to offer earthquake-related medical assistance.
They will join thousands who are part of a nationwide effort organized by National Nurses United. It remains unclear where nurses would be stationed, although it’s possible they’ll provide care on U.S. ships.
