New pact gives Hershey’s RNs salary bump

Registered nurses at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center will receive a 4 percent salary increase across the board effective April 25, according to union representatives.
On Tuesday, nurses at the Derry Township hospital represented by Service Employees International Union, Healthcare Pennsylvania, ratified a new four-year contract that will expire on March 31, 2012.
The union released a statement outlining details of the contract yesterday.
