Negative job growth in the Reno-Sparks job market eased in January as the jobless rate dipped to 13.3 percent largely on a shrinking labor force.
The job growth rate improved to nearly flat, or minus 0.4 percent, in January from minus 2.3 percent in December. It shows continued slow improvement in job growth that had contracted to as low as minus 4.1 percent last summer.
