Aloha Scholarship To provide financial assistance for nursing educationto children or grandchildren of Montana members of the American Legion Auxiliary. Amount Awarded: $500Number Awarded: 1 each year.Duration: 1 year.Eligibility: Eligible to apply are the children or grandchildren of members in Montana of the American Legion Auxiliary. Applicants must be residents of Montana, graduating from a high school in the state, and accepted by an accredited school of nursing. They must be recommended by their local auxiliary unit, pastor, high school principal, and 2 members of the business community. Selection is based 50 percent on character, aptitude, scholarship, and worthiness of the applicant and 50 percent on an essay on some phase of nursing.Contact Information:American Legion Auxiliary
