Illinois Nursing Education Scholarship Program To provide scholarships/loans to Illinois residents who are interested in pursuing a certificate in practical nursing, an associate degree in nursing, a hospital-based nursing diploma, or a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Number Awarded: Varies each year.Duration: Varies.Deadline: May of each year.Eligibility: Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents and have been permanent , legal residents of Illinois for 1 year prior to application. They must be enrolled in or accepted for admission in a nursing program in Illinois accredited by the National League for Nursing or approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
