California Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents' Parley Nursing Scholarships To provide financial assistance to California residentswho are the children of veterans and interested in studyingnursing. Number Awarded: Varies each year.Duration: 1 year.Deadline: April of each year.Eligibility: This program is open to California residents who are the children of veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, or Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Applicants must be entering or continuing students of nursing at an accredited institution in California.
