National Hawaiian Health Professions Scholarship Program This scholarship addresses the health needs of Native Hawaiians by helping to assure an adequate supply of appropriately trained health professionals to serve the underserved Native Hawaiian population. Program participants must be: Native Hawaiian; Residents of the State of Hawaii; Enrolled or accepted for enrollment into accredited health professions training programs needed by the program; Eligible for appointment as a Federal employee in the US Public Health Service.
