John E. O'Connor Memorial Scholarship To provide financial assistance to members of the AANA who are interested in obtaining further education. Amount Awarded: $1000Number Awarded: 1 each year.Duration: 1 year.Deadline: April of each year.Eligibility: This program is open to members of the AANA who are currently enrolled in an accredited nurse anesthesia education program. First-year students must have completed 6 months of nurse anesthesia classes; second-year students must have completed 12 months of nurse anesthesia classes. Students in nurse anesthesia programs must hold a current license as an RN and a bachelor of science in nursing.
