Primary Care Resource Initiative for Missouri To provide scholarship/loans to residents of Missouri who are interested in working as a health care professional in an underserved area of the state following graduation. Number Awarded: Varies each year.Deadline: July of each year.Eligibility: This program is open to residents of Missouri who have lived for 1 or more years in the state for purposes other than attending an educational institution. Applicants must have been accepted by or currently be attending a school offering a course of study leading to a degree as an MD or DO; a BS degree in a field leading to acceptance to school of medicine; or a BSN or MSN degree leading to certification as a primary care advanced practice nurse as a pediatric, family, adult, or geriatric practitioner. Physicians in primary care residency programs are also eligible. Priority is given to residents of medically underserved areas in Missouri, minority group members, and previous recipients.Contact Information:Missouri Department of Health
