Wisconsin Legion Auxiliary Registered Nurse Degree Scholarship To provide financial assistance for nursing education to the dependants of Wisconsin veterans. Amount Awarded: $750Number Awarded: 2 each year.Duration: 1 year.Deadline: March of each year.Eligibility: This program is open to wives, widows, and children of Wisconsin veterans who are enrolled or have been accepted in an accredited school of nursing. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren of veterans are also eligible if they are American Legion Auxiliary members. All applicants must have at least a 3.2 GPA and be in financial need. They must be Wisconsin residents, but they do not need to attend school in Wisconsin.Additional Information: Recipients must attend an accredited hospital or university RN program.Contact Information:American Legion Auxiliary
