Lillian Sholtis Brunner Summer Fellowship for Historical Research in Nursing

To support pre- and postdoctoral research to be conducted at the Center for the Study of the History of Nursing in Philadelphia during the summer.

Amount Awarded: $2500

Number Awarded: 1 each year.

Duration: 6 to 8 weeks, during the summer.

Deadline: December of each year.

Eligibility: Although postdoctoral candidates are preferred, this fellowship is also open to those at the predoctoral level. Proposals should cover aims, background significance, previous work, methods, facilities needed, other research support needed, budget, and professional accomplishments. Selection is based on evidence of preparation and/or productivity in historical research related to nursing.

Additional Information: Scholars must be in residence at the Center for the Study of the History of Nursing for the duration of the program.
