CAN Nursing Education Scholarship Fund To provide financial assistance for continuing educationto registered nurses in California. Amount Awarded: $1000Number Awarded: 5 each year.Duration: Up to 2 years.Deadline: June of each year.Eligibility: Applicants must be licensed registered nurses in California who have been accepted for admission to an accredited BSN or graduate degree program. They must plan to enroll on at least a half-time basis and complete the degree within 5 years. Selection is based on letters of reference, commitment and active participation in nursing and health-related organizations, professional vision and direction, and financial need.Additional Information: Recipients who fail to complete the degree within 5 years are expected to repay the award in full.Contact Information:California Nurses Association
