The Dallas Foundation offers numerous awards to students who are residents of Texas.
Data-Driven Clinical Practice Grant
To provide funding to members of AACN who wish to use patient-focused data and/or previously generated research findings for critical care nursing research.
Number Awarded: 6 each year.
Deadline: February or September of each year. David A. Koch Scholarship
Three awards of $5000 (one for athletic achievement) for children of Graco employees with at least one year of company service. Award based on academics, financial need, and tuition costs. Candidate must be under 26 years of age.
Duration: 1 year.

To provide financial assistance to members of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists who are interested in obtaining further education.

To provide financial assistance to members of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists who are interested in obtaining further education in Missouri.

Four scholarships are available per year to undergraduate students. Three of these scholarships are two-year renewable scholarships and one is for one year only. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 per year. Criteria: a "B" (3.0) average on all collegiate pre-nursing work attempted. For renewal of a two-year scholarship, a student must maintain a 2.5 grade point average on nursing courses. All applicants for admission to study leading to the BSN degree at the School of Nursing are automatically considered for the Dean's Scholarship. A separate application is not required.

Delia and John Robert Endowed Nursing Scholarship
Established with funds from the Delia and John Robert Trust to honor Delia and John Robert. Criteria: current enrollment in study leading to a degree in nursing at the University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Preference will be given to those for whom the decision to return to school is a second life choice; or who may have pursued a degree in nursing earlier in life and been forced by circumstances to stop that education; or who are returning to school in order to seek an advanced degree in nursing. The School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs announces application deadline and procedures.

Demolay Foundation Scholarships
For undergraduate freshmen or sophomores with a 2.0+ GPA. DeMolay membership is required. 3 awards per year.

To provide funding to members of AANP who wish to conduct research for a doctoral degree project.

Deadline: October of each year. Dennis R. Scanlan, Jr. Memorial Student Nurse Scholarship
To assist a student pursuing a career in nursing. RN Applicants shall be a member of AORN in good standing. Membership must be maintained continuously for 12 months prior to the June 30th application deadline and throughout the funding period. Membership is considered lapsed if full dues are not received at AORN Headquarters by the last day of the renewal month. A cumulative 3.0 GPA average is required and must be maintained for RN members. Student nurse applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrollment in a NLNAC or CCNE program at an accredited institution. RN member nurses must be enrolled in an appropriate accredited institution for higher education. Applicant is responsible for submitting all materials, including application form, transcripts, resume or CV, personal statement and three letters of endorsement.

The Nurse Candidate Program is designed for students attending an NLN-accredited BSN program in their junior year or senior year. An accession bonus of $5,000 and $500 monthly for each month enrolled as a full-time student for a maximum of 24 months is offered. The active duty service obligation for candidates enrolling in the program during the fourth year of nursing school is four years. For candidates enrolling in the program for two years, there is a five-year active duty commitment.

Department of Veterans Affairs Health Professional Scholarship
The Health Professional Scholarship Program Offers awards to nursing students enrolled full-time or accepted for enrollment in an NLN-accredited nursing program. Recipients must agree to be employed as full-time licensed professionals in a VA medical center for a two-year service obligation. Benefits include funds for tuition and fees, other educational expenses, and a monthly stipend.
Dermik Laboratories Career Mobility Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to members of the Dermatology Nurses' Association (DNA) who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.

To recognize and reward a researcher who presents the annual Distinguished Research Lecture at the National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition of AACN.

To provide financial assistance to students in Kansas who are enrolled in a basic undergraduate nursing program or are completing their BSN degree.

To provide financial assistance to members of the American Radiological Nurses Association (ARNA) who are interested in working on a higher degree in a health-related field.

This scholarship is awarded annually to South Dakota residents attending accredited 4-year nursing programs in South Dakota. Applicants must have at least 24 credits before applying to the scholarship. The amount of the award varies from year to year.

To provide financial assistance to students in Kansas who are working on a basic nursing degree.

Established with funds received from the Dorothy Sterne estate through the provisions of her will. Dr. Hans and Clara Zimmerman Foundation Health Scholarship
Applicants to these scholarships must plan to major in a health-related field in a school in the United States and be a junior, senior, or graduate student. To be eligible for Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships, you must: be a resident of the state of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student; be a fulltime student (12 credits undergraduate; 9 credits graduate); demonstrate academic achievement; and demonstrate good moral character. Scholarships are for senior girls graduation from high school in Palo Alto, California who intend to complete a four-year degree in the sciences. Special consideration will be given to girls who have demonstrated a "pioneering" spirit in that they have not been constrained by stereotypical female roles as well as those facing financial hardship.
